I normally use the Behringer BCR-2000 to tweak my Studio Electronics ATC-1. For convenience I've made a template using Behringers editor B-CONTROL EDIT. The editor can be found at Behringers site. Be aware that it requires a pretty old version of Java. Java 1.4 and below to be more precise. It's kinda silly, because the editor is easy to operate. There are other editors out there which may be more up to date. Google and you will find. On this page you will find a link to a sysex-file that contains my own setup of the BCR-2000 for the ATC-1. Use at own risk. LAYOUT The layout is like on the picture below - further down you will also find a link to a slightly larger jpg. that you may want to print out for reference when working with your ATC-1 synthesizer. It should be kinda self explaining for the most of you. Please note that the filter-selection toggles through 4 stages of filters, i.e. for ATC-1 synthesizers with all filters installed. When an empty slot is chosen no sound will be heard. Just toggle further until you reach your installed filters. Also notice that the OSC 2 MODE button toggles through the various modes. It's important to chose correct mode for the X-mod to work. As far as I know this setup covers the possibilities shown in the ATC-1 manual. I.e. there are some functions not adressable via MIDI-controllers. Not many though. You will also find that I haven't included BANK, when chosing programs. Not sure if it's possible either. I've had this setup for many years, and may have forgotten a thing or two.
FILES To get the files rightclick and chose save to a location of your own choise. To use the sysex-file: Import it into an editor of your choise and send it either via USB or MIDI to your Behringer BCR-2000. The files have been scanned for viruses, but make sure you virus-check everything you download from the internet using your own security software.
Disclaimer: The files are free for a non-commercial useage, but any use of content from my site is at your own risk - always. This is how it looks in my own music room - the ATC-1 is quite easily accessed as well as the BCR-controller.
